Description
The Gasket Genius oil sump pan gasket fits Yamaha and Parsun F4 / 4HP outboard engines. It seals the joint between the oil sump pan and the engine block, containing the lubricating oil used to lubricate the internal moving components of the engine. Once this gasket becomes worn, hardened or damaged, it can no longer hold a tight seal at the joint, allowing an oil leak at this joint, which can lead to loss of lubricating oil and reduced protection for internal engine components if left unaddressed. Fitting a new gasket whenever the oil sump pan is removed for servicing helps restore a proper seal.
