Description
The Gasket Genius cylinder head cover gasket fits Yamaha and Parsun 4 - 5 HP outboard engines. It seals the joint between the cylinder head cover and the cylinder head, keeping engine oil and combustion pressure properly contained within the cylinder head assembly. Once this gasket becomes worn, hardened or damaged, it can no longer hold a tight seal at the joint, allowing an oil leak at the cover. Fitting a new gasket whenever the cylinder head cover is removed for servicing helps restore a proper seal.
