Description
The Gasket Genius fuel pump gasket set is made for Yamaha 75 - 225 HP outboard engines. These gaskets seal the joints within the fuel pump housing, keeping fuel contained as it's drawn from the tank and delivered to the carburettor at the correct pressure. Once these gaskets harden, compress or crack, the fuel pump housing can no longer hold a tight seal, letting fuel leak or air enter the pump chamber. This often results in inconsistent fuel delivery, stalling or difficulty starting. Fitting a new gasket set whenever the fuel pump is opened for servicing helps restore a properly sealed pump housing.
