Description
The Gasket Genius exhaust outer cover gasket fits Yamaha 20 HP - 25 HP outboard engines. It seals the outer exhaust cover against the engine block, keeping exhaust gases and cooling water properly contained and directed as they pass through the exhaust housing. Once this gasket becomes worn, compressed or damaged, it can no longer hold a tight seal at the cover joint, allowing exhaust or water leakage. This affects how exhaust and cooling flow are routed through the assembly. Fitting a new gasket whenever the exhaust outer cover is removed for servicing helps restore a proper seal.
