Description
The Gasket Genius exhaust outer cover gasket set fits Yamaha 115 HP V4 - 135 HP V4 outboard engines. It seals the outer exhaust cover against the engine block, keeping exhaust gases and cooling water properly contained and directed as they pass through the exhaust housing. Once this gasket becomes worn, compressed or damaged, it can no longer hold a tight seal at the cover joint, allowing exhaust or water leakage. This affects how exhaust and cooling flow are routed through the assembly. Fitting a new set whenever the exhaust outer cover is removed for servicing helps restore a proper seal.
