Description

The Gasket Genius throttle body / intake manifold gasket fits some Volkswagen Polo 6N and 6N2 models. The throttle body gasket is the sealing element fitted between the throttle body and the intake manifold, preventing air leaks at the throttle body mounting face. When the gasket is hardened, cracked or compressed, unmetered air enters the intake downstream of the throttle body, causing erratic idling, lean running or poor throttle response. Replacing a failed gasket restores a proper airtight seal at the throttle body joint and correct engine performance.
