Description
The Gasket Genius drive shaft housing gasket is built for Suzuki DF4, DF5 and DF6 outboard engines. It sits between the drive shaft housing and the powerhead, sealing this joint so exhaust gases and cooling water stay properly contained and routed as they travel from the engine down into the lower unit. As the gasket ages, compresses or gets damaged, it can no longer hold that seal, and exhaust or water can escape at the joint instead of following its intended path through the housing. Whenever the drive shaft housing is separated from the powerhead for servicing, replacing this gasket restores the seal.
