STIHL TS480i TS500i Complete Gasket Set

Description

The Gasket Genius complete gasket set covers Stihl TS480i and TS500i disc cutters with 1x crankcase gasket, 2x cylinder gasket, 1x exhaust muffler gasket and 1x carburettor gasket. The crankcase and cylinder gaskets keep the crank chamber airtight so the engine can build proper compression, the muffler gasket stops exhaust gases escaping at the muffler joint, and the carburettor gasket keeps the air-fuel mixture sealed on its way into the engine. Heat and age cause these gaskets to harden and shrink, at which point they can no longer hold their seal — depending on which one gives out, you'll typically notice rough or unstable idle, loss of power, or exhaust leaking near the muffler. Since all of these are commonly opened together during a service or engine rebuild, having the full set on hand saves sourcing each gasket separately.
