Description
The Gasket Genius exhaust muffler gasket fits Stihl 08S, TS350 and TS360 chainsaws and disc cutters. The exhaust muffler gasket seals the joint between the cylinder exhaust port and the muffler, containing the exhaust gases as they leave the combustion chamber and preventing them from escaping at the mating surface. When the gasket hardens, burns through or gets crushed, exhaust gases can leak past the joint, causing a loss of exhaust backpressure, hissing or popping noise at the joint, and reduced engine performance. Fitting a replacement exhaust muffler gasket restores a proper seal between cylinder and muffler, allowing the engine to run with correct exhaust backpressure again.
