Description
The Gasket Genius cylinder head gasket fits Stihl 08S, TS350 and TS360 chainsaws and disc cutters. The cylinder head gasket seals the joint between the cylinder and crankcase, maintaining a sealed combustion chamber and preventing compression or exhaust gases from leaking past the mating surfaces. When the gasket hardens, shrinks or burns through, the seal is lost, causing loss of compression, hard starting, poor power, or exhaust gases blowing past the joint. Fitting a replacement cylinder head gasket restores a proper seal between cylinder and crankcase, allowing the engine to build correct compression again.
