Description
The Gasket Genius air filter gasket fits Stihl 08S, TS350 and TS360 chainsaws and disc cutters. The air filter gasket seals the joint between the air filter housing and the carburettor or intake boot, ensuring all intake air passes through the air filter element rather than being drawn in around it. When the gasket hardens, shrinks or tears, unfiltered air can bypass the filter, allowing dust and debris into the carburettor and cylinder, which leads to accelerated engine wear, erratic idle, or a weak intake seal. Fitting a replacement air filter gasket restores a proper seal at the air filter housing, ensuring intake air is correctly filtered again.
