Chainsaw chain 16" 3/8LP 1.3mm 0.050" 55DL fits Stihl 023, MS230 and MS231 chainsaws. The 3/8LP pitch is a narrower standard than the full 3/8" pitch and the two are not interchangeable — always verify the pitch, gauge and drive link count against the existing guide bar and sprocket before ordering. A worn or stretched chain produces slow, ragged cuts, puts additional load on the engine and accelerates wear on the guide bar rails and sprocket teeth. Fitting a correctly specified replacement restoresclean,efficientcutting and keeps the saw running safely.
