Description
The Gasket Genius complete gasket set is suitable for Scheppach CSP2540 and many other 25cc chainsaws. A complete gasket set like this typically covers the main sealing points on a small two-stroke chainsaw engine — the joints around the crankcase, cylinder, exhaust muffler and carburettor — keeping the air-fuel mixture and exhaust gases properly contained at each of these points. As individual gaskets age, harden or compress, they lose their seal, which can show up as rough or unstable idle, loss of power, hard starting or exhaust leakage, depending on which one has failed. Fitting a full set during a service or engine rebuild helps ensure these joints are properly resealed together.
