Description
Original Kawasaki cylinder gasket fits Kawasaki TH23 and TH26 hedge trimmer engines. This gasket seals the joint between the cylinder and the crankcase, keeping the crank chamber airtight so the two-stroke engine can build proper compression. When the gasket hardens, compresses or becomes damaged, the seal at this joint weakens, letting an air leak into the crank chamber. This typically shows up as rough or unstable idle, loss of power or difficulty starting. Fitting a replacement whenever the cylinder is removed for servicing restores a proper seal.
