Description

The Gasket Genius complete gasket set covers a wide range of McCulloch, Poulan and select Craftsman chainsaws, bundling 1x exhaust muffler gasket with 2x carburettor gasket. The muffler gasket keeps exhaust gases from escaping at the joint where the muffler bolts to the engine, and the carburettor gaskets seal the joint between the carburettor and intake manifold so the incoming air-fuel mixture stays contained on its way to the cylinder. As these gaskets harden and shrink, they lose their grip on the joint — a failing muffler gasket typically means exhaust escaping near the muffler, while a worn carburettor gasket lets unmetered air into the intake and often shows up as a rough idle or hard starting. Because both parts are commonly disturbed together during carburettor or muffler servicing, this set covers them in a single pack.
