Description
The Gasket Genius crankcase gasket fits Husqvarna 61, 266, 268 and 272 chainsaws. The crankcase gasket is the sealing element fitted between the two crankcase halves, maintaining the airtight pressure differential within the crankcase that is essential for correct two-stroke engine operation. When the gasket is hardened, cracked or compressed, crankcase pressure is lost, causing poor engine performance, difficult starting, erratic idling or complete failure to run. Replacing a failed crankcase gasket restores the correct crankcase seal required for reliable engine operation.
