Description
Anti-vibration (AV) spring cover / plug fits Husqvarna 362, 365, 371 and 372 and Jonsered 2063, 2065, 2071, 2163, 2165, 2171 and 2172 chainsaws. The AV spring cover is a plastic plug that seats over each anti-vibration spring mounting point on the handle frame, retaining the spring in position and protecting the mount from sawdust, debris and moisture ingress. Without an intact cover, the AV spring can dislodge during operation and the mounting cavity is left exposed to contamination, which accelerates wear at the contact surfaces. A cracked, broken or missing cover should be replaced as part of any AV system service or spring replacement to ensure the springs remain correctly seated and the mounting points are protected.
