Bumper spike / felling dog fits Husqvarna 36, 41, 136, 137, 141, 142, 235, 236 and 240 chainsaws. The bumper spike is a toothed metal plate mounted at the front of the saw body, used as a pivot point during felling and bucking. By pressing the spikes into the wood, the operator creates a fixed anchor that allows the saw to rotate for controlled, precise cuts with reduced kickback risk. This variant covers a broader model range than similar bumper spikes listed for the same platform. A missing or broken bumper spike removes this control point and makes accurate felling and bucking cuts more difficult and less safe.
