Description

Guide bar plate / washer fits Husqvarna 136, 137, 141 and 142 chainsaws. The bar plate is a metal washer fitted between the guide bar and the clutch cover, sitting around the bar mounting studs and providing a flat bearing surface that distributes the clamping load evenly across the bar heel. A worn, corroded or missing bar plate allows the guide bar to sit unevenly against the clutch cover, causing the bar to shift under load and accelerating wear at the bar mounting and oil outlet contact points. Fitting a replacement restores the correct clamping surface and keeps the guide bar correctly located during operation.
