Description

The Gasket Genius engine gasket set is a comprehensive kit for Honda BF35 - 50 HP outboard engines, covering 6x carburettor gasket, 1x intake manifold gasket, 1x muffler plate gasket, 1x exhaust pipe gasket and 2x thermostat gasket. Together these gaskets seal the joints across the intake tract, exhaust system and thermostat housing, keeping air-fuel mixture, exhaust gases and cooling water properly contained at each of these points. As individual gaskets in the engine age, harden or compress, they can no longer seal their joints properly, leading to symptoms such as rough idle, hard starting, exhaust or water leakage or a loss of control over engine operating temperature, depending on which gasket has failed. Fitting this full set during a major service or engine rebuild helps ensure every one of these joints is properly resealed at once.
