Description
The Gasket Genius air filter fits Hecht 9270 hedge trimmers. Mounted ahead of the carburettor, the air filter blocks dust, leaf debris and clippings kicked up during cutting, while letting clean air through for combustion. Once the filter media clogs with use, airflow into the carburettor drops, pulling the fuel-air mixture rich and causing reduced power, rough running, higher fuel consumption or hard starting. Fitting a new air filter restores correct airflow to the carburettor, letting the engine draw the correct air-fuel ratio again.
