Description
The Gasket Genius complete gasket set fits Alko 3800S chainsaws, covering the engine's main sealing points — the crankcase, cylinder, exhaust muffler and carburettor mounting faces. Each of these joints holds a different kind of pressure the engine relies on: the crankcase for crankcase compression, the cylinder base for combustion pressure, the muffler for exhaust backpressure, and the carburettor faces for a correctly metered fuel-air mixture. These are the same points typically opened up during a rebuild, and a single worn gasket left in place can cause hard starting, poor compression, an exhaust leak, or a hunting idle.
