Description
The Gasket Genius carburettor gasket set fits 6200 (62cc) Chinese chainsaws, including Komatsu Zenoah and Timberpro models. It seals the joint between the carburettor and intake manifold, keeping the incoming air-fuel mixture contained within a sealed passage on its way to the cylinder. Once this gasket hardens, compresses or cracks, it can no longer hold a proper seal at the joint, allowing unmetered air to enter the intake tract. This upsets the air-fuel ratio and often shows up as a rough idle, hesitation under acceleration or hard starting. Replacing the gasket set whenever the carburettor is removed helps keep the intake joint properly sealed.
