Description
Flywheel fits 6200 (62cc) Chinese chainsaws and also Komatsu Zenoah and Timberpro chainsaws. The flywheel is mounted on the crankshaft taper and held in position by the flywheel nut and Woodruff key, which ensures the embedded ignition magnets pass the ignition coil at precisely the right point in the engine cycle to fire the spark plug. The rotating mass of the flywheel also helps smooth out power delivery between combustion strokes. A cracked flywheel, damaged magnet housing or one displaced by a sheared Woodruff key will produce a weak or absent ignition spark, making the engine impossible to start or causing it to run erratically. Replacing the flywheel restores correct ignition timing and consistent engine performance.
