Description
The Gasket Genius complete gasket set fits 3800 (38cc) Chinese chainsaws, including Komatsu Zenoah, B&Q, Draper, Sanli, Sovereign and Powerplus models. It packages 1x crankcase gasket, 1x cylinder gasket, 1x exhaust muffler gasket and 2x carburettor gasket — each sealing a different joint: the crankcase and cylinder gaskets keep the crank chamber airtight for proper compression, the muffler gasket contains exhaust gases at the muffler joint, and the carburettor gaskets keep the incoming air-fuel mixture sealed on its way to the cylinder. As these age and harden or compress, they stop sealing correctly, and depending on which one fails you'll typically notice rough or unstable idle, loss of power, hard starting or exhaust leaking at the muffler. Since these gaskets tend to wear at similar rates, replacing them together during a service or rebuild covers the whole set in one go.
