Description
Flywheel cover fits 3800 (38cc) Chinese chainsaws and also Komatsu Zenoah, B&Q, Draper, Sanli, Sovereign and Powerplus chainsaws. Mounted on the side of the chainsaw body, the flywheel cover encloses the ignition coil and flywheel assembly, shielding both components from sawdust ingress and physical damage during use. It also plays a functional role by directing the cooling airflow produced by the spinning flywheel fins toward the cylinder, helping to maintain safe operating temperatures. A cracked or broken flywheel cover leaves the ignition coil unprotected and allows heat to dissipate poorly, increasing the risk of ignition failure and engine overheating. Fitting a replacement restores both protection and correct cylinder cooling.
