Description
The Gasket Genius carburettor gasket set fits Honda BF9.9A and BF15A outboard engines and includes 2x carburettor gasket. The carburettor gasket seals the joint between the carburettor and the intake manifold, ensuring the air-fuel mixture drawn into the engine travels through a sealed passage without leaking. A worn, hardened or damaged carburettor gasket allows an air leak at the carburettor joint, letting unmetered air enter the intake tract. This leans out the air-fuel mixture and can cause symptoms such as rough or unstable idle, hesitation on acceleration or difficulty starting. It is good practice to replace the carburettor gasket whenever the carburettor is removed for servicing.
