Description
The Gasket Genius carburettor gasket set is made for Honda BF8 - BF10 HP outboard engines. It seals the joint between the carburettor and the intake manifold, keeping the incoming air-fuel mixture contained within a sealed passage as it travels toward the cylinder. Once this gasket hardens, compresses or cracks, it can no longer seal the joint properly, allowing unmetered air to enter the intake tract. This upsets the air-fuel ratio and often shows up as a rough idle, hesitation under acceleration or hard starting. Replacing the gasket set whenever the carburettor is removed helps keep the intake joint properly sealed.
