STIHL 044 MS440 Complete Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius complete gasket set covers Stihl 044 and MS440 chainsaws, resealing the crankcase, cylinder and exhaust muffler. The crankcase and cylinder gaskets keep the crank chamber airtight for proper compression, while the muffler gasket stops exhaust escaping at its joint. Once these harden or compress with age, you’ll typically notice rough idle, lost power or exhaust leaking near the muffler, depending on which one has failed. Since all three tend to be opened together during a service, one set covers them all.
