The Gasket Genius exhaust muffler gasket fits Stihl 044, 046, 064, 066, MS440, MS460, MS640 and MS660 chainsaws. When the seal between the muffler and the cylinder exhaust port breaks down, hot exhaust gases escape at the joint causing increased noise, loss of back pressure, reduced cutting power and potential heat damage to nearby engine components. Fitting a new exhaust muffler gasket restores a proper gas-tight seal and allows the exhaust system to function as intended.
