MCCULLOCH CS35 Chainsaw Complete Crankcase

Complete crankcase fits McCulloch CS35 chainsaws, replacing part numbers 585041901 and 585042101, and comes complete with bearings, bar studs, a crankcase gasket and bolts. The crankcase is the main cast housing supporting the crankshaft and its bearings and seals, forming the sealed crank chamber the two-stroke engine relies on to draw in and compress the fuel-air mixture. When the original crankcase is cracked, stripped, or no longer sealing correctly — often around the bearing bores or crankshaft seals — the engine can lose crankcase compression, leading to hard starting, poor running, or a rough idle. Fitting a replacement complete crankcase restores a properly sealed crank chamber, allowing the engine to build correct crankcase compression again.
