Oil drive pump fits McCulloch Mac Cat 335, 338, 435, 436, 438, 440, 441, 442, 444 and Partner 350, 351, 352, 370, 371, 390, 391, 401, 420 and 422 chainsaws. The oil pump is driven off the crankshaft and delivers a continuous supply of bar and chain oil to the guide bar groove during cutting. On the McCulloch and Partner platform these saws share a common oil pump body profile across a wide range of models, making this a high-coverage replacement part. A worn, cracked or seized pump cuts off oil delivery entirely the guide bar runs dry, drive link friction increases rapidly and the bar rails and sprocket nose deteriorate under the heat load. Identifying and replacing the oil pump at the first sign of a dry bar prevents more extensive damage to the bar and chain assembly.
