HUSQVARNA 61 66 268 272 Large Anti-Vibration (AV) Mount

Large anti-vibration (AV) mount fits Husqvarna 61, 66, 268 and 272 chainsaws. The large AV mount is a rubber isolation buffer positioned between the engine unit and the handle frame, forming part of the saw’s anti-vibration system. These professional-grade saws use multiple AV mounts of different sizes at various attachment points; the large mount handles isolation at the primary, higher-load connection point between the two assemblies. When the rubber deteriorates, hardens or tears, vibration from the engine and cutting chain passes directly through the frame to the operator’s hands and arms, increasing fatigue and the risk of long-term hand-arm vibration injury. Fitting a replacement restores effective vibration damping at this mounting point.
