HUSQVARNA 61 266 268 272 Rubber Grommet

Rubber grommet fits Husqvarna 61, 266, 268 and 272 chainsaws. The rubber grommet is a small sealing and cushioning insert used at cable or pipe pass-through points on the saw body, protecting wiring, fuel pipes or throttle cables from chafing against the edges of the housing where they pass through. A cracked, hardened or missing grommet allows the cable or pipe to rub directly against the plastic or metal housing, leading to wear through and potential failure of the component it protects. Fitting a replacement restores correct sealing and cable protection at this point.
