HUSQVARNA 445 445E 450 450E Anti-Vibration (AV) Spring

Anti-vibration (AV) spring fits Husqvarna 445, 445E, 450 and 450E chainsaws. The 445 and 450 series use multiple AV springs of different profiles at separate mounting points between the power unit and the handle frame this is a second spring variant specific to these models, distinct in shape from the other AV spring used on the same saws. Each spring in the system carries a share of the vibration load generated by the two-stroke engine and cutting chain. If one spring fails, that load shifts entirely onto the remaining mounts. The operator will typically notice this as a change in the vibration character at the handles — a harsher or more directional buzz rather than even damping across both grips. Replacing the failed spring redistributes the load correctly and prevents premature wear on the rest of the AV system.
