HUSQVARNA 235 236 240 Anti-Vibration (AV) Spring

Anti-vibration (AV) spring no. 1 fits Husqvarna 235, 236 and 240 chainsaws. Replaces part number 545033801. The 235, 236 and 240 are entry-level saws built around a spring-based AV system rather than solid rubber mounts, coil springs at each fixing point between the power head and the handle frame flex with each vibration cycle to prevent engine and cutting chain frequencies from passing through to the operator’s hands. This particular spring is the no. 1 position variant; the saw uses more than one spring profile across its mounting points, so correct identification against the part number or product images is important before ordering. A spring that has snapped or lost its rated tension will leave that fixing point rigid, noticeably increasing vibration at the front or rear handle depending on its location. Installing a replacement brings that mounting point back into service and evens out the damping across the whole AV system.
