Anti-vibration (AV) spring no. 3 fits Husqvarna 235, 235E, 236, 236E, 240 and 240E chainsaws. Replaces part number 545033901. The 235/236/240 series uses multiple AV springs of different profiles at separate fixing points between the power head and the handle frame. This is the no. 3 position spring confirm the part number against your old part before ordering. A broken or fatigued spring at this position allows vibration to pass directly through that fixing point, increasing handle vibration and putting extra load on the remaining mounts. Fitting a replacement restores correct isolation across the full AV system.
