HUSQVARNA 137 142 Anti-Vibration (AV) Mount

Anti-vibration (AV) mount fits Husqvarna 137 and 142 chainsaws. The AV mount is a rubber isolation buffer positioned between the engine unit and the handle frame, designed to absorb and dampen the high-frequency vibration generated by the engine and cutting chain during operation. Over time the rubber deteriorates, hardens or tears, causing increased vibration transmitted directly to the operator’s hands and arms. Prolonged use with worn AV mounts contributes to operator fatigue and can cause long-term hand-arm vibration injury. Replacing a failed mount restores effective vibration isolation and brings the saw back within safe operating levels.
