HONDA GX22 GX31 UMK422 UMK431 Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius gasket set is made for Honda UMK422 (GX22) and UMK431 (GX31) strimmers, bundling one exhaust muffler gasket with two carburettor gaskets. The muffler gasket sits at the cylinder-to-muffler joint, holding in exhaust gases and the backpressure the engine relies on to run cleanly; the carburettor gaskets seal where the carburettor mounts to the engine, keeping intake air routed only through its metering circuits. Both wear in similar ways over time — flattening, cracking, or losing their grip once disturbed — and a failed seal on either side has a distinct symptom: a muffler leak sounds like a hiss or pop and softens engine response, while a carburettor leak tends to show up as a hunting idle that won’t settle. Fitting new gaskets at both points clears up either issue.
