The Gasket Genius complete gasket set fits Homelite CSP3816 chainsaws, sealing the main pressure points across the engine — the crankcase, cylinder base, exhaust muffler joint, and the carburettor’s mounting faces. Each of these needs its own tight seal for the engine to run correctly: the crankcase for crankcase compression, the cylinder base for combustion pressure, the muffler for exhaust backpressure, and the carburettor faces to keep the fuel-air mixture properly metered. These are also the points most often disturbed during a rebuild, and any one left with a worn gasket can bring back hard starting, weak compression, an exhaust leak, or a hunting idle. This set replaces them all together.
