43CC 52CC CG430 CG520 Strimmer Exhaust Muffler & Carburettor Gasket Set

The Gasket Genius gasket set covers the top-end and carburettor side of the engine on many 43cc and 52cc strimmers and brushcutters, including CG430 and CG520 models, and contains one exhaust muffler gasket plus two carburettor gaskets. The exhaust muffler gasket seals the joint between the cylinder’s exhaust port and the muffler, holding in exhaust gases and backpressure, while the pair of carburettor gaskets seal the mating faces where the carburettor joins the intake and any adjoining spacer or insulator, stopping unmetered air from being drawn into the fuel-air mixture. Once these gaskets harden, compress or get disturbed during a carburettor or muffler removal, the seals at these joints weaken — leading to exhaust gas leaks, a hissing or popping noise at the muffler joint, or a surging idle and inconsistent response to carburettor adjustment on the intake side.
