23CC 26CC Strimmer Flywheel

Flywheel suitable for many 23cc and 26cc strimmers, brushcutters and hedge trimmers. The flywheel sits on the crankshaft taper and carries the ignition magnets that sweep past the ignition coil on each revolution, generating the spark timing signal that fires the spark plug at the correct point in the engine cycle. Its rotating mass also helps smooth out the power pulses between combustion strokes, contributing to stable engine operation at all throttle positions.

A cracked flywheel, a loose or missing magnet, or a unit displaced by a sheared Woodruff key will produce an erratic or absent ignition spark, causing hard starting or complete failure to run. Replacing it with a correctly fitting unit restores reliable ignition timing and consistent engine performance.
