Description
Oil drive pump fits Husqvarna 346, 350, 351 and 353 and Jonsered 2149, 2150 and 2152 chainsaws. Replaces part number 503891701. The oil pump draws bar and chain oil from the oil tank and delivers it continuously to the guide bar groove during cutting. A worn, cracked or seized pump body interrupts this flow, leaving the guide bar and cutting chain running dry. The consequences of oil starvation on a working saw build quickly the bar rails overheat, the drive links wear against the groove and the sprocket nose deteriorates under increased friction. Identifying and replacing the oil pump at the first sign of a dry bar prevents more extensive damage to the bar and chain assembly.
