2500 25CC Chainsaw Oil Drive Pump Worm Gear

Description

Oil drive pump worm gear fits 2500 and 3800 Chinese chainsaws with 25cc and 38cc engines, including Timberpro, Komatsu Zenoah, Lawnflite, Carlton, Painier, B&Q, Draper, Sanli, Sovereign and Powerplus. The worm gear is mounted on the crankshaft and meshes with the oil pump rotor to drive bar and chain oil through to the guide bar during cutting. On the 2500 and 3800 platform the gear is shared across both engine sizes confirm the fit against your old part before ordering. A worn or stripped worm gear disconnects the oil pump from its drive source entirely, causing oil starvation at the guide bar even when the oil tank is full and the pump body is undamaged. Replacing the gear is the recommended first step when diagnosing a dry bar on these saws.
