STIHL 08S TS350 TS360 Carburettor Gasket

Description

The Gasket Genius carburettor gasket is the second gasket in the fitment range for Stihl 08S, TS350 and TS360 chainsaws and disc cutters, sealing a further mating surface within the carburettor assembly — typically between the carburettor body and an adjoining spacer, insulator block or cover plate. Its role, like every gasket in this assembly, is to stop outside air from entering anywhere except through the carburettor's calibrated air and fuel passages. Once it hardens or compresses, that seal weakens and unmetered air enters the intake tract, throwing off the fuel-air ratio the carburettor is trying to maintain. This often shows up as an engine that won't hold a steady idle, surges, or doesn't respond consistently to carburettor adjustment.
