Description
Oil pump pipe fits McCulloch Mac Cat 335, 338, 435, 436, 438, 440, 441, 442, 444 and Partner 350, 351, 352, 370, 371, 390, 391, 401, 420 and 422 chainsaws. The oil pump pipe is a short rubber tube connecting the oil tank outlet to the oil pump inlet, forming the supply side of the bar and chain oiling circuit. A split, cracked or hardened pipe cuts off oil flow before it reaches the pump, causing a dry guide bar even when the oil tank is full and the pump and worm gear are both functional. The pipe is subject to continuous heat and fuel exposure and should be inspected alongside the oil pump whenever oil starvation is diagnosed on these saws.
