Description
Exhaust muffler deflector fits Husqvarna 272 and Jonsered 625 and 670 chainsaws. Replaces part number 503519901. The exhaust deflector is a metal plate or shield mounted on the exhaust muffler, directing hot exhaust gases away from the operator, the fuel tank and surrounding vegetation during cutting. A cracked, corroded or missing deflector allows exhaust heat to radiate directly towards the fuel system and increases the fire risk when operating near dry material. Fitting a replacement restores correct exhaust gas direction and the original level of heat shielding.
