Description
The Gasket Genius exhaust muffler gasket fits Husqvarna 36, 41, 136, 137, 141 and 142 chainsaws. The exhaust muffler gasket is the heat-resistant sealing element fitted between the exhaust port on the cylinder and the muffler, preventing exhaust gas leakage at the joint. When the gasket is burned out, cracked or compressed, exhaust gases escape at the cylinder face, resulting in loss of back pressure, reduced engine performance and potentially dangerous hot gas exposure near the operator. Replacing a failed gasket restores a proper exhaust seal and correct engine back pressure.
