Description
Throttle switch shaft / choke rod fits Stihl 028, 038 and MS380 chainsaws. The throttle switch shaft is the metal or plastic rod that connects the throttle trigger and stop switch assembly, transmitting operator input to control engine speed and ignition cut-off. When the shaft is bent, broken or worn, the throttle or stop switch may no longer operate correctly, affecting both engine control and the ability to stop the engine safely. Replacing a damaged shaft restores correct throttle and switch operation.
