Description
The Gasket Genius muffler plate gasket fits Honda BF50 HP outboard engines. The muffler plate gasket seals the joint between the exhaust muffler plate and the engine, preventing exhaust gases from escaping at the connection point. When the gasket deteriorates or burns through, exhaust leaks develop at the joint — increasing noise levels, reducing back pressure in the exhaust system and potentially causing heat damage to surrounding components. Replacing the gasket during any muffler removal or exhaust service restores a proper gas-tight seal at the joint.
